City Police wrap up report
A routine vehicle check by city police has resulted in several drug-related charges for an Ottawa man. What's believed to be 100 oxycontin pills, over 670 grams of marijuana and half a gram of cocaine were seized. 24 year old Kevin Marcotte is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, obstruct police, possession of property obtained by crime and possession of a narcotic.
Meantime, city police are investigating an unusual discovery. A large headstone was found in a pond near Pinewood Park Drive, in 3 pieces. Police say it appears to have been there for some time. The origin should be determined when the pieces are retrieved.
