Funding for NBGH
The North Bay General Hospital is receiving almost 840 thousand dollars from the province. The money is part of a 100 million dollar provincial announcement that the government says will reduce in shorter wait times in emergency rooms. 71 hospitals in total will receive funds. The Health Minister Deb Mathews says all the hospitals receiving funds are treating patients within their wait time targets and are aiming to improve by 15 per cent over the next year.
